So, I had never heard about this story before. I had heard OF Junji Ito, because I have seen videos of games that were adapted from some of his stories, but I had never looked further than that and had never heard of Uzumaki. That first episode is... deeply unnverving, and by that I mean that it makes me uncomfortable, but in the way that Goosebumps stories made me uncomfortable when I was a kid. It feels like reading one of those stories that rely on your visual imagination to have a true impact, but you're already fed the image and it's somehow exactly how you would have pictured it if you only had descriptions.
