I’m kinda upset about how much the anime glossed over the situation with Diablo being a Primordial Demon. It’s actually in that exact scene where Rimuru fully realizes just how much of a potential threat Diablo could have been if unleashed into the world at large. For context Guy Crimson is another Primordial Demon that has been named and is considered to be the only Demon Lord stronger than Milim and is quite possibly the reason the title was coined the way it was, considering that he’s supposed to be the first of any being to ever get the evolution to full Demon Lord.
