One explicit parallel was that in the Tower of Babel, God sent angels to tear down the tower, which humans had cooperated together to build, approaching the heights of God. It may be a Greek concept but this demonstrates the sin of hubris, which deserves retribution or karma. You are right of course that it is not only religion that is responsible for tearing down advancement or destroying knowledge. But throughout history there have always been tales of knowing too much being dangerous (not that this is always true), but even today you see fearmongering around AI, just as one example. In the context of Slime, we don't know the reasons why those called the angels destroy technology. This is also a war that occurs repeatedly every 500 years called the Tenma War (not new info, mentioned earlier this season). You're right, the fundamental divide is not between good and evil, even if there are demons and angels. ............................................................................... The other thing you talked about is the world-building, specifically about factions. They did make that point a couple of episodes ago, that sometimes they are aligned on a goal but there are other goals on which they are opposed, and even individuals aligned with a faction might have their own priorities separate from the faction's priorities, and may even oppose it in certain cases.

2024-06-25 00:38:33 +0000 UTCGreat video guys. Also, in the part about Leon and Kazalim, Leon attempted to kill Kazalim in order to usurp his title of Demon Lord. However, Kazalim escaped and attempted to summon Yuuki to use as a physical host. Fortunately for Yuuki, he came to this world and gained an incredibly rare unique skill called “Anti-Skill” which blocks any magic spells and skills from having any effect on him. However this skill can’t block both simultaneously and is useless against physical attacks. As such Kazalim was forced to wait until he could get a new body of his own, as well as discussing his plans with Demon Lord Clayman. I hope that this was informative and I hope that you guys can continue to make great reaction videos for as long as you guys want. I certainly enjoy your videos. Thanks!
