The reason he came was because the adventurers guild would probably ask for him, and his persona would normally answer, that's about it. He didn't know demiurges plan, so that's why he asked which one he would be fighting. You must remember he was a normal corporate sales man with a knack for PVP, that's all he ever was. Now over time he's growing into his new role, but its slow. Most plans are made by demiurge and albedo and he just goes along or in this case crashes into it without knowing. BTW, it isn't mentioned anywhere in the anime, but Albenion Sheep are Humans and human/monster hybrids farmed for Skin. The skin is used for scrolls. they are then rehealed and after a bit of time farmed again. Soooo Happy Fun Times
