Patreon will soon switch to subscription billing, where patrons will get billed any day they subscribe and 30 days after. Compared to monthly billing where your bill is only within a particular month (so even if you subscribe say August 30, you will get billed for August. And another bill for September 1 despite only being subscribed for 1 day).
