it is true that season 3 of Overlord gets pretty jank in the final episodes with CGI. They aired it I believe 6 months (maybe a bit more) after the second season. One of the most iconic book moments, the end of volume 9 (chapter 4), was done horribly. A lot of cut content from it too. Quite tragic. I would recommend you read it if possible. The books have some of the best diction and styling that I've ever seen. Up there in my top novel series ever.
