Even if Aenar wasn't planning something that still will come to bite him. And skip Daemon and Aenar from the succesion?? If this was cannon Daemon, or a more darker one like some other fanfics do, maybe i could understand it (and that's a huge maybe) but this Daemon literally went to be with him and he make him live to be with Alicent....

In this chapter, he tries to please his grandmother, but in the end, he refuses to send troops due to his fear that it will cause a war and fearing that Rhaenyra will get herself involved. Despite what people might think, Viserys tries to do good. His only real decision out of his selfishness was to make Rhaenyra his heir and force Aenar to marry Alicent. All the other decisions are him trying to please everyone, which is failing miserably. Sara’s dream will be explained…eventually.

From what I gathered Dany’s child with Aenar was killed by Oberyn because he probably wanted Rhaenys’ children to be the only one. It seems like in his vengeance, Aenar killed Arianne, Oberyn and Doran (if he was still alive)

What’s hilarious is viseys is dumb enough to do this unlike his show version book version saw the tension and the teams fighting and tried to fix it in stupid ways like seriously a freaking wet nurse?! So he sees his nephew is loved by people yet doesn’t use it to quell things of course people would go a bit feral about new religion but if their favoured prince is ok with it it would eventually die down but no arm the faith instead what a dumbass. “As if someone was hiding the supplies somewhere for a reason, but Viserys quickly snuffled such thoughts; a single person couldn't hold the supplies for a city as big as King's Landing”😑. You did viserys wandering mind really well it’s like he’s drowning and his thoughts on family is great too. The court scene was very interesting the fact they’re looking down on dirty peasant but never did anything to fix it🙄. That always bothered me in book like aegon 1 made city fast and his sons was a mess so didn’t fix things, old king did fix some things but had family problems, inherited a mess and tbh was a ass so his queen had to force him but viserys? He inherited peace and did fuck all hell I don’t think he even updated works or finish his grandparents works or maintained them. And another great view on his thoughts on his nephew his rage vs his love of family especially as Alysanne explained it to him working as his conscious. And then again he’s showing his people pleasing ways why would the populace give a damn about religion instead of food viserys 🤦🤦. Saera visions are perfect they are messy to her but not too complex that she couldn’t decipher them with time and experience unlike helaena on show who sees perfectly yet just says nothing and no one notices her words or her drawings ? ( I love Helaena though but I think fics do her visions better)
