Well, neither Reiner nor Berthold had any other option from the moment they tore through the gates; but I wonder if spending some time in the 'Crystal Pit' (I believe it was mentioned in previous chapters that's where enemy shifters would end up) would have them come out as changed people. It's interesting to see Annie defecting, even in the original she never seemed much onboard with the whole mission, she mostly went ahead for inertia; how it appears, a more chaotic situation and especially deeper personal connections with people in the walls was what it took to pus her over the edge.

I'm probably being too optimistic, but it's clear that Reiner and Bertolt still care about and hold the Paradisians close even if they've still chosen to fight against them. Plus, Annie was also responsible for the Fall of Shiganshina/Wall Maria because of the Female Titan's ability to attract Pure Titans (and mayhe Abnormals too) with their screams. Main problem with the Warriors is that they're too thick-headed (in Reiner's case, quite literally since he has the Armored), and are still fighting Paradis even though destroying it will not make their situation as Subjects of Ymir or any Subject of Ymir better. Since in this story Annie is rebelling, it's possible for the other two be swayed to join the other side. Bertolt would probably be easier than Reiner in my eyes. Again, this is me being optimistic, but I can hope.

I always knew Annie was capable of a redemption arc, but it wasn't sadly capitalize on. Hopefully Annie cam join Paradis and work with them, maybe getting Reiner and Bertolt to switch alliances. Incredible work.
