Even though his wounds had been healed and the medicine he had gotten from the sandal hat guy worked wonders, his whole body was still hurting. He had struck him down, ripped his powers away from him, and left him on the pavement to bleed and die. The sandal hat guy said he would train him and ready him for the trip to Soul Society. Ichigo felt torn. He did not want to waste any time; he was too agitated and impatient to sit around while Rukia was facing a death sentence.

But as you all know, the only one who can move around as a soul is Ichigo and Naruto, who are soul reapers. For others, even if their souls are separated from their bodies, they're still chained by the China of Fate. Not to mention, to go to the Soul Society, it's even hard to move. That's why there's a need for reishihenkanki. This thing changes the "Kishi," which makes up the things in the living world, into "Reishi." Which is the main component of souls."

"So, it means we don't have to become souls in order to travel there." Uryu shortens Kisuke's explanation.

"We'll be able to stay in our bodies."
