Young, horny males use him as a sexual object, because he is stronger and more resistant then neanderthal women, and there is no risk to make him pregnant :P
Also, neanderthal males are horny all the time, they never get tired of sex, while the woman are often tired and make up excuses like "Not now, I have headache!"
The fat, mature males can grow big breasts and bellies, and their curves are much solid and compact then the women's. And you know, cavemen love curves. Especially big round butts.
Yes, younger neanderthals look like punks :)
