Added 2024-05-07 17:04:35 +0000 UTCHi, somehow the epilogue of book 3 is also going longer than expected, who would have ever thought XD. I'd rather take my time to do it right, so I'll publish it tomorrow.
Also, I might do some tweaking to the second bargain between Kai and Zervathi. I'll warn you of any changes in the A/Ns of the epilogue.

2024-05-08 13:12:04 +0000 UTCHis first two blessings never mentioned an affinity increase and only showed favor, but did increase the affinities as well. Kai told the god he wanted another space boost and only then was he blessed, so obviously his space was boosted and favor is just a by product

2024-05-07 21:14:28 +0000 UTCHe already got a huge boost to space magic, whar are you talking about? He had space at affiniry score 38 and estimated it went up to 50. Then he got a second smaller boost on top of it, so lets say it is now at 55. That is still very high! That would be his third best affinity. If Drew changes the bargain to involve some space magic training, Kai has a very good foundation for using space.

2024-05-07 17:47:19 +0000 UTCYeah it kind of just feels like a big flumpf after all the build up to the space affinity, to the pull it out from under him. Would almost be more believable to give the space affinity increase, then that be the reason he can't get out, and Kai is caught by his own greed/arrogance etc. Much more in character too! And let's be real, it's just pretend numbers, it doesn't have to actually affect the story you have planned that much - he's already way better at space magic that almost anyone he will come into contact with! Just gives the reader the payoff that was promised.

2024-05-07 17:45:34 +0000 UTCI like the idea of fleshing out the deal a bit from the last chapter. As far as taking more time; you should always take the time you need. Don't feel rushed just because you said it would be done faster than it turns out it will be. Take your time. Write a great story.
