Marusya lives in an abandoned village in the forest. In the neighboring village, this place is considered to be damned and no one goes there. One day, Vanechka's boy wandered into it and found that smoke was coming out of the chimney of one house. He looked out the window of this house. It turned out to be a bathhouse in which naked Marusya was washing. Her beauty struck the boy and after that he secretly came to the village several times and spied how Marusya was picking mushrooms or swimming in the river. Finally, he decided to meet. It turned out that Marusya does not live with people, because she loves loneliness and does not like it when women in the village are jealous of their husbands for her. She used to meet a blacksmith, but he was a bad lover and they broke up. Marusa likes Vanechka, but does not take him seriously yet. Marusya practices magic a little. Her house can be transformed into a rustic-style robot. She also has an anti-gravity broom.
