Moving Away from Sta.sh

Just a quick heads up: As of today, many files will no longer be hosted on Sta.sh. 

It's a bit of a bummer because the Sta.sh UI is convenient in a lot of ways, and I particularly like that it allows anyone with a DA account to comment on individual folders or pics. However, I plan to (mostly) stop using it for two reasons:

1. It's a buggy, insecure mess. Files constantly disappear, rename themselves, or move around on their own. Uploads get stuck. Links will sometimes spontaneously redirect you to the folder one level above the one they're supposed to send you to. For example, someone on DA could click the link to variants for Kai and wind up in the September archive containing Patreon exclusive content. IDK why on Earth it does this, but it's been happening for a while and seems to be getting more frequent.

A helpful Twitter follower also tipped me off to a separate security gap that allowed a bunch of links to leak publicly. Because of this, I had to completely nuke all of the monthly Sta.sh folders posted up until this point. These have since been moved to Dropbox; you can find them under the new Monthly Archive tag.

2. Uploads are subject to DeviantArt's rules. This is less of an issue because staff are unlikely to see Sta.sh uploads, especially stuff that only gets linked on Patreon. I don't think there's even a report link on Sta.sh pages. It is nonetheless a risk; just a few days ago, about a dozen futa variants got wiped by staff.

Even if you don't care to Save The Dicks™, a bunch of other pics would also be at risk due to DA's rule against sexualized depictions of underage characters. I got suspended over this just a few months ago. I cleaned up my DA gallery afterward, but plenty of characters still up on Sta.sh, including many poll winners like Momo from MHA, Ryuko from Kill La Kill, and Yang from RWBY, are all technically underage. These could all potentially draw the ire of DA staff and bring me one step closer to getting suspended again.

I will still use Sta.sh for variants of public pics, and perhaps a few other little odds and ends like the Bimbo caption prompt I posted recently. But! That's it.

So what does this mean for you?

Not much. You will still have access to all the same content you used to. Monthly Archives will either be posted to Dropbox or attached directly to Patreon posts, as will any variants for individual pics. Again, you can find everything under the Monthly Archive tag. $10 and $12 patrons can find updated links to Jamsel U and Devious Dommes on their respective posts. I also fully plan to keep drawing dickgirls and other things DA's rules don't allow. They just won't be on DA or Sta.sh.

However: A lot of old links no longer work. I'm currently in the process of combing through old posts and replacing dead Sta.sh links, but there are so many that I'm inevitably going to miss some. If you happen to come across a dead link, I'd appreciate it if you could shoot me a message linking to the post so I can fix it. Either way, for now please mind the mess. Thank.
