It's Friday #312

Look at tubes with a smile in your face at Fridays...

About work...

I've made progress on my latest commissions. I've finished some things related to the Mastermind project code (the final name will probably be Dungeons and Dames) and I've finished the background for the girls' introduction, as you can see in the video I added this week.

Well, apart from that, I've been talking to people on Discord about a new reward, because, as you can see, I don't have time to finish the ones for the stripgame. In my opinion, the reason is the color. Coloring the images takes me more than half the time I need to finish an image, so about 60% of the time is spent coloring.

So I thought that next year I'll make black and white doujins of old RPGs or maybe other games I like. I requested some on Discord and I have plenty of options to cover the whole year, but I might request more at some point.

I'll do it without a regular publication, because I'm not sure how long it will take me to finish one of these, basically because some designs are very simple and others are more detailed, you know what I mean.

Anyway, I'll change the rewards for next year and we'll see how it goes.

Oh, maybe you're not interested in joining here, but you want to support these comics. Don't worry, I'll put the comics in the store for those who prefer to give a one-time tip.

Here's a detail of the first one:

Lucca from Chrono Trigger.

The picture...

Audrey Tautou in The Da Vinci Code (2006). I tried to read the book back in the day, but it was bored as hell for me. I didn't watch the movie, I only know the amazing O.S.T. by Hans Zimmer.

Aside work...

I haven't started a new decent game yet, I was too busy with the damn code for my own game. The worst thing is when you learn how to do something, because that makes you dream of creating something more complicated, and that's not a good idea at all, because the “code hell” starts all over again.

Anyway, let me tell you something: the other day I went into my Steam inventory to sell some stuff, basically CS:GO skins. Well, my plan was to get about $5 to buy some indie game from a solodev or a small studio.

I thought it was strange to see some of the prices of my crappy skins, because the last time I checked, the price was lower, around 0.45 or so, and now it's 4 or 3 euros.

So I started selling them happily, and suddenly, boom, an 80-euro skin...

It seems that Valve has changed the rules for getting the most expensive skins in the game, and now you can get them with the contract, so the most expensive skins go down in price and the cheapest ones go up, because everyone wants to use them to get the most expensive skins. Does that make sense to you?

Oh man, English, my mortal enemy...

So I bought some indie games and a couple that were on my wish list—lucky me!

If you play CS:GO and are interested in doing the same, check your inventory, guys, but you probably already knew that, right?

Other than that, I'm still waiting for the guy with the boiler...

I have to try again with the newsletter, so you can expect it sometime this weekend.

The song...

One of my favorite songs by The Smiths. If you don't know it, I think you should give it a listen sometime.

The Smiths - Bigmouth Strikes Again

Nothing more for now.

Stay safe, guys, and thanks for the support!
