Charge upfront?

She surprised me yesterday with this, but... I'm scared, what will happen to me if I squeeze this ... o_O¿ (I'm pretty sure Cthulhu could kill me if I try...)
Anyway, Let me ask you something, probably you know patreon could charge upfront if we want, and I wanna ask you about that.
The old patreons have no changes, but the thing affect to new patreons and if one of you wants change the pledge (from monstreon to abominatreon for example)

Also, I guess I try to make the pledge better for my patreons (the pin-up idea, the raffles...) Thank you very much for your opinion and your trust Abraham!

It feels like a way for Creators to not get scammed by those joining, downloading, and then jumping ship before payment is due. The quality of your work is worth paying up front or at the first of the month. Do what you feel is best. (But there also seems to be a third option which is "pay per picture / post." Have you considered that as an idea?)

2016-06-23 03:10:55 +0000 UTCI'm not a fan of it, as I would never think of ditching payment and I don't like to have to pay upfront for anything. I mean, if I would change my pledge. Though I do understand that people pledging and then leaving before the payment is due, is a problem, so I wouldn't hold it in any way against you, if you changed it.

2016-06-23 00:11:53 +0000 UTCI like it! it should help alot of creators to sweep out the people that "pretend" to pledge then download everything and runs away. i admit when i frist learned of it, i was like "wtf..." but after reading on it i say use it.

2016-06-22 22:50:20 +0000 UTCA new feature i dont trust at all is the "per creation" optional, but i think the option to charge people the moment they hit pledge instead of waiting till the next month can only help creators and i think you should use that feature.
