The Gävle Goat
Added 2021-12-28 21:21:24 +0000 UTCFor those unaware the Gävle Goat is a traditional Christmas display erected annually at Slottstorget in central Gävle, Sweden. It is a giant version of a traditional Swedish Yule Goat figure made of straw. It is also tradition for the people to attempt to burn it down (it's not meant to be burnt down and is very much illegal to do so).
They have succeeded more times than they have not. This year both the giant goat and it's smaller brother were destroyed.
I thought it could be interesting to do a take on the goat, where they have almost a deity quality to them.
