Fantasy Furry - The Jinxed Rat and The Rabbit Ranger

Designwise, for some reason I really wanted to draw a character in a tricone hat and I liked the idea of having a character that fights with more than one weapon. So seeing as I didn't have many spellsword type characters, why not make another! The idea of fighting with a weapon controlled by a tail seemed like a fun concept too! I had a few friends jokingly refer to this guy as the bloodborne rat until I coloured them in.
I think I got bored of drawing metal weapons so I decided to go for a cool jade/emerald look which helps with making the character feel like they use a specialised magic of some kind. I might go back and adjust the other spellsword users to use unconventional materials that they use to channel their magic through. At least on the Moh scale, emerald tends to be harder than steel!
As for the other character, I realised that of all the species I've done so far, I was surprised that I hadn't finalised a rabbit character! So I set out to correct that one and I liked the idea of doing a shy/easily flustered character with a big oversized scarf. Whilst I was designing this character, I thought it could be fun to make them a trans masc representing character! c:
