In much the same way that Tun’fos is revered heavily in the northern and southern-most territories, Sorra is revered as “The Passionate Lover of The Lands” in the few deserts of the world.

While she hides behind a mask and a veil, she is often depicted with her trailing dress forming the large sand dunes of the world. Communities within these deserts often form a close bond with the sand. Being able to sculpt and use it for their needs. A popular past time being dune racing.

For mortals outside of the desert regions, Sorra is often praised for gifting the lands a warm breeze and often celebrate her on beaches as winter makes way for spring. From these beach festivals, many sand sculpting competitions and traditions have sprung into being. The winners of these competitions are often sand mages, often grand designs and even animated stories would take place.

In recent years, judges have banned animated war stories. As the judges were annoyed with fielding complaints from non-magically inclined participant’s creations being destroyed by a sand cannon
