[Art Trade] Alkaid Above the Clouds
Added 2024-12-21 05:21:28 +0000 UTCThis has been something a looooong time in the making! (and admittedly it was because I was taking a while with my half of the trade) but it's finally done!
Me and Asterisk got together and did a trade. A character that they like a lot is Alkaid from the .Hack games and I'm a sucker for redheads so that's precisely what I ended up drawing for them. They were super humble about the trade too. They only asked if I could draw a straight shot of Alkaid dangling her tiny friend, Haseo in front of her face but I wanted to do a little bit more for them, especially since they really went all out with their part of the trade so I ended up making a more loomier piece for them too!
And you can probably guess that they made a Raven thing for me lol. They ended up putting together a super awesome Raven size story that you can find over on their Deviantart page here:
Magical Missteps by Asterisk
A bunch of tiny familiars get into all kinds of shenanigans as they try and fail to garner her attention... Until they finally do. I cannot recommend any harder that you go check out their story! And big shoutouts to my friend, LewdsSonk too who was kind enough to provide some illustrations for it!

Small Edit: I just realized I forgot to remove the sun rays in the cropped view of the "Dangling Before Alkaid" pic. I thought it looked nicer to have a cleaner shot for the cropped version. It should be fixed now!

Also with your immediate art shown I love how on Alkaid you can't see the lower half for the angle (love the angle .///.), makes it exciting for my imagination. Makes me wonder if there's more going on down there if ya know what I mean. <3 ;3
