got many requests for nao angsty backstory so here it is 🫣 i rmb answering an ig question about nao‘s attachment style from many months ago, and he has to deal a lot with being anxiously attached to people bc his papas were always away on games! he still loves uncle osamu a lot, but no one can replace his parents to him.

this is why hes very damaged from one of the few friends he could connect with the most, kaien, leaving bc kagehina moved back to Brazil temporarily and brought kaien with them.

this makes nao withdraw from kaien‘s return and attempt in reaching out to reconnect, because to him kaien potentially having to leave again might bring back all the hurt from his childhood, and he just cant deal with it again.
