thankyou atsus for surpassing 777 patrons!!! 😭 + personal life reflection

made some special thankyou atsus for each tier ✨🍞🧋🍑✨!!! thank you so much for making the decision to support my patreon and i hope each and every one of you know that your support, no matter what size, whether you’re here for a month or more, is extremely moving because everyone has always told me that being a comic artist would be unsustainable, and that i’d have to wait until i d-worded to have my works start earning money… 

to keep you up to date with my personal life, i work an 8 to 6 job with really wonderful people, but the hours of laboring there have weighed significantly more as i came to the realisation that i wanted more of my hours to go into building this community instead. 

patreon has given me this huge sense of relief and more foundations that i would never take for granted. the past week, especially after the opening and wonderful support of peach oolong tier, i have been in quite a mini crisis, reconfiguring many thoughts. 

i AM considering stepping down from my day job into a part-time position if patreon continues to do well.

i also thought about quitting my day job to do art full-time if this gets really big, which then led to the worries about … patreon shutting down one day? i get banned? paypal stops services in singapore? i hurt my hand really badly and lose the ability to draw? or lose a ton of subscribers and having to learn to handle an unpredictable monthly income?

today the worst of the paranoia seems to have passed and i’ve decided to just be in the moment with you who decided to give me a chance while you’re here, to have fun with our content, and to embrace and work with change.
