Added 2023-07-21 20:00:02 +0000 UTCmore in this series of illustrations I've done focusing on Tre's great great grandpa Trenton... who was a war hero. an actual one. a fictional war, because I don't like the idea of illustrating around real life atrocities that much lol, but a war nonetheless. here we see him with Kody's great great grandpa Dalton, and Chip's great great grandpa Rooney.
I think any illustration of Trenton will show that he's kind of a badass, he can kick your ass before you even realize it, but he's also very empathetic... I think he picks his battles wisely, and cares a lot for his buddies and just other people in general. Rooney was a bit younger than the other soldiers so he felt the need to look after him a lot.
Trenton is designed to be the spitting image of his great grandson Trent (Tre's dad), so the two are nearly twins. I haven't done any colored pics of him yet but when I do, that's what you can expect. I think it's a cute connection.
