I love how your brain seems to default to pronounce Ghorman with a french accent - very fitting, considering the Ghormans are all French or Québécois and the language is based around French grammar and phonetics.

2026-03-02 08:56:16 +0000 UTCSome context on Saw: He is a character that goes back to the animated show The Clone Wars, and also shows up later in Rebels (all voiced by Whittaker). He grew up fighting a rebellion on his home planet with his sister, but was imprisoned in a work camp & he got a significant amount of exposure to Rhydonium, which is the fuel they’re after in episode 5. His sister dies during that time and his madness from the exposure has caused him to relate his love for his sister to his love for the high from rhydonium. In addition to it making him crazy, it feeds his paranoia and he is dependent on it. He’s become an extremist who operates his rebel cell independently from the greater rebellion because he doesn’t believe any of the other rebels are true patriots to the cause. Him encouraging Wilmon to breathe in the fumes is kind of like welcoming him into the “true rebellion” and I think it serves to radicalize Wilmon even further than he already was after the events on Ferrix and Mina-Rau.

Everytime you speak, the dude to my left raises his hands and sings "Just you waiiit" 🤣 this is the most meta reaction watch I've ever undertaken, it's me watching him, watch you. Sinta's loss is sad because she worked so hard all the time and was taken out in the most simple way, by someone not following the fucking orders, like they said. Great reaction as usual!

I got the feeling that the message is also "what is the TRUTH?" kind of like how we find ourselves here in the US with each "side" believing different facts/reality bc of how politics control the news/social media but also alter the "truth." People can look at videos of innocent people being killed and literally see two diff things based on spin or loyalty. I mean ppl believed immigrants were eating cats and dogs. 🙄 There's also that philosophy of saving one's skin. Like, if as a representative, if I go along to get along, it will protect me and my people. We know how that worked for people in Nazi Germany. It will eventually come for you. No one is safe.
