I'm back. Still hoping for Black Sails season 2. It's such an important season and stopping at the end of 1 was such a blue ball. You have no idea what you've done lol. But for now.. Here to finish Queens Gambit and True Blood with you.

2026-01-12 21:03:13 +0000 UTCWhat a glorious ending! Jolene = the GOAT. The final episode takes its time in building up to the climax, but it's done so intentionally. A girl who felt unwanted and unloved by her own biological parents found love and kinship with so many others. Alma was such an important part of that. I absolutely love how Towne comes back around, which brings in the guys on the phone working with her as a family to help her win. Chosen family. 💚 The ending with the man reminiscent of Schiebel brought tears to my eyes. Her convo with Jolene also made me cry. I don't think anyone but Jolene could have helped her out of the spot she was in at that point in her arc. Again, she's the GOAT. The fashion in this show is stunning. I loved having her walk in white, representing the color in the last game she played. I love that even though the viewers could see the gender divide/issues, no one was cruel or bullying toward her. She had enough pain as a child.
