Just want to point out that the reason Noelene was annoyed/upset when they were interviewing the people in the stock market is because they were all ignoring her and only responded to Rob. Once again a very good and subtle depiction of sexism and how demeaning it feels as a woman to be basically ignored or not taken seriously. And you're right, the British came to Australia and invaded it and took over the Aboriginals land and, as they did in all other countries they colonised, treated the natives as second class citizens and tried to stamp out their culture.

It’s hosted by two women who were newsroom journalists in Australia in the 80s, so they have firsthand experience with the way things were back then. They’re always talking about how well-researched the show is! They also interview the show’s director, producers, writers, and even actors (Sam and Anna included!), so it’s a real treat. Also, there are no spoilers. Every episode of the podcast corresponds with an episode of the show. Just wanted to share! 🙏🏿
