Oh I'm pretty sure he knew that, as he wrote all of his side as creepy, where he was obsessed with her. Drummond had told him that he would have to let her go, and this wasn't a controlled environment where anyone would stop him. he was allowed to be creepy AF. Dan 100% knew what he was doing. But then again y'all probably might not have known that at this point? Of course it was weird shit, lol.

It’s the perfect trap. She can be Gemma down there because she severs into Ms. Casey and Ms. Casey just turns right back around, and that’s why reintegrating Mark is the only way it will work. So the chip doesn’t sever him out of doing what he’s trying to accomplish.
I haven’t seen ep 8 yet so I’m writing this ignorant of anything after this episode, but this episode gave us so much more to be suspicious of, like their logo was on the machines for the blood drive where she and Mark met. The “doctor” she is seeing down on the testing floor was at the infertility clinic. Then they targeted her with mailing those cards that Dylan got a hold of in S1. So I definitely want answers. The cliffhangers are hard but I definitely need to see how this continues to unravel. This episode invested me in Mark & Gemma so much - I just want to see them happy again.

So most severed people have two identities. But it seems that Gemma has 7, with an 8th on the way. And every identity is nothing but non-stop torture: dental appointments, writing thank-you notes (which Mark said she hated), etc. So what is the point? I think it is pretty clear that they intend to erase or kill Gemma when she goes through the Cold Harbor door. But what is the point of all the torture?

This was my favorite episode of the series so far. For me, it gave me the heart that I was missing. Before this, only my head was really engaged.

Isn’t it strange how this episode changed our minds about who should be with Mark.
I agree, Taco. In the “real” world, women are not normally alone with a male doctor. I’m hoping nothing nefarious is going on but as the main writer is Dan, he may not be aware that this is unusual and considered inappropriate for women.

Since this is mostly a younger demographic most of you probably don't know Robby. He was a major teenage heart throb in my day. His voice is unmistakeable.

I completely agree with you Taco. This show leaves me constantly frustrated. My heart is breaking for Gemma and I have no idea how long it will be until we see her get some relief. Yes it is a great show. But is it worth the pain? I am sure I am hooked until the end, but please move faster!

It was such a beautiful episode because this was the cinematographer's directorial debut.

This episode was so sad, Gemma is my favourite character. I'm heartbroken.
