Definitely give the second season a chance! Once you’ve finished the whole series you may like the first season more because of all its setting up, but on its own it can feel slow and a little too much like they’re trying to be GOT or something.

But yes, Black Sails looks intriguing, I'll watch when you watch.. Ever since The Witcher and The Magicians ugh, and there is one more whose name escapes me now.. lol, it looks interesting..
