It's beyond fascinating to me, and I'm sure it is equally, if not more, for all of you as well. Years ago I got to interview Anne Rice for a horror fiction fanzine I was doing. At the time, she'd only written two vampire novels and though they were smash hits, she still had a listed phone number because she loved hearing from readers who were moved by her writing and wanted to reach out to her. Imagine that. Anway, she only had a little time to chat...I was hoping to get 10 minutes of her time, but each question I asked she answered completely...dug deep into her intentions for the choices her characters made. The 10 minute call stretched to nearly two hours. She was gracious, FASCINATING, and just dang marvelous. After IWTV, she veered away from the supernatural for a couple of books. She said she was disappointed with the reviews that treated her books as pop fluff., But over time, she heard from the readers and she said that they got what she was doing, so she redirected her energy to her gothic/horror tales with a vengeance...and we're all the luckier for it!

I would love to see you react to some cast interviews. There's a few interviews on YouTube as well where they break down certain scenes from the show which is interesting.

You can see how commited they are, they love this characters and when you see the series you can feel that! I am an actor myself (theater) and seeing interviews of this cast talking about how they approach this characters it's been very inspiring to me!

But yes there are so so many great interviews. On YouTube, Autumn Brown has done hour-long interviews with Sam (that one is so good), Jacob, Assad, Delainey, the actor who plays Madeleine, Eric (Daniel) and also Luke (young Daniel). They’re all quality!

There are a wealth of fantastic videos out there of all the different actors discussing their characters at length. I love watching them too because pretty much everybody involved in the show is this passionate about it as the hardcore fanbase is and it's great to feel connected through that enthusiasm! There's also the official podcast that aired along with season 1 and has interviews with all of them, that would be something you could listen to now and not get spoilers.
