Shopping Around for a Patron Server! (And taking your requests for features)

After thinking about it and reading through the other comments here's what I have: -Having a VOIP is a thing we should do. As to which service we should use, I don't know. -I like the idea of roads and a spawn town very much, but I don't like using block protection mods to do it. (More about that later.) -By the looks of the strawpoll as off right now, we want a vanilla server. And I agree with that. -The difficulty should be on hard. This just seems obvious to me. -Using custom generation (such as lava oceans/More dungeons) is definitely something to consider. -Having a creative area or other server would be pretty sweet. But that should be a secondary goal. -Finally, I have been on several servers where there were huge swaths of land that were claimed, but the vast majority of it was left as an ugly landscape that no-one could change. Using a block tracking mod on the other hand would be a much better solution. Yes, it would require a committed moderating team, but these are the sort of people that have the commitment to give from their own wallets having no real expectation of reward (other than a patron server maybe), I think it should relatively easy to find yet other smaller group that would have the kind of commitment to honestly moderate a Patron Server for you.
