I'm jijigri, and I'm working on Sugar OVERDRIVE. A fast-paced, melee first person action game, set in a candy city.

At its core, Sugar OVERDRIVE is all about the combat system:
You have an arsenal of weapons, mostly melee, and you will need to learn to use these weapons and switch between them to combo your enemies.
Combos drop health, so learning cool combos will be your only way to survive!
The combat gets deep, with a lot of movement techs, resource management, and situations requiring split-second decisions.
During the playtesting phase of the game, most of the focus will be put on making the combat as good as it can be.
There is an arena mode, where enemies will spawn in waves and you will need to survive for as long as possible to get a good spot on the leaderboard, and a lab mode where you can create and practice combos on a practice dummy.
There is also a test level, that serves as a tutorial and unlocks the weapons necessary to compete. The level is pretty barebones right now, but the plan is to have an actual story mode with different levels when the game launches on Steam!
