Introducing a new feature for PlayTracker Quest - The League!

Tomorrow, a new monthly challenge begins for PlayTracker Quest as it does every month. However, this time that's not all. In our quest (hah) to expand the features available to Quest lovers, we are adding another piece to the puzzle - The League.

Starting tomorrow with the Fall 2020 season, PlayTracker Quest will keep track of your number of achievements earned across all your linked platforms for the current season. This will be your league score. On the Quest page you will find two leaderboards - one is a global leaderboard of all Quest users, and another will be just you and your friends.

Each season of The League will last three entire months, with the reset happening at the same time as the monthly Quest resets. They will be tied to the seasons of nature in the Northern hemisphere (sorry Southern Hemisphere, we'll make it up to you somehow). Because we all agree 2020 has lasted too long already, Winter will be referred to as Winter 2021 and we'll continue that trend going forward.

Exceptions to the achievement count may apply. To start with, Steam games with over 200 achievements will be exempt from the count. This is intended to exclude games that give copious achievements for little time investment, which would have offset the scale of the league too much. We may add more exceptions in the future, hopefully only at seasonal reset, but we are not removing the possibility of mid-season adjustments should the need arise.

But what about the rewards?

For this first season, as we test out how this will all work, we're keeping the rewards simple:

Be in the top 50% of PlayTracker users to unlock a special League card for your profile (coming soon).

Be in the top 25% of  PlayTracker users to unlock an exclusive profile cover image.

Be in the top 10% of  PlayTracker users to unlock an exclusive profile title.

Be the #1 on your friends list to get a special upgrade for the League card on your profile.

We are intentionally not rewarding the absolute top participants: being on the leaderboard for everyone to see is its own reward.
