Hello, Post-Groundhog Day Friends

At least, I'm assuming we've made it past groundhog day ;)

Some notes: I've made some additional updates in the background to the Hatikvah maps, the Moreauverse TO&E, and the Rukhat dictionary; the TO&E is still technically a work in progress but it's getting closer to fully outlining the scope of the Kashkin army, the OVKK.

I cannot possibly convey enough the degree to which you should not attempt to build such a table of organization and equipment yourself. As an exercise it has helped to clarify the balance of forces and led to a few structural revisions, but out of four armies present in the novel one is 90% built out, one is ~60% built out, and two are completely unstarted.

Hatikvah as a novel required some reworking, which is why there was some delay in uploading it to SF and to writing.dog. The net impact is that it is now six chapters longer, representing about 25,000 words. I'm still debating whether another chapter is required, but that would come towards the end so my hope is that it shouldn't significantly delay new uploads.

Most importantly: as part of routine maintenance, I discovered that writing.dog was not properly sending E-mails. This includes user registration and password reset E-mails, so I have gone through and tried to manually fix that but if you have experienced problems please 1. try again, 2. complain to me, or 3. both. The CMS apparently did not feel inclined to surface that it had started returning errors when sending E-mails and I don't know how long this has been ongoing.

Also importantly: a general reminder that while I don't take commissions, per se, I am interested in writing story ideas from you. I have been pretty happy with how those have turned out; there is another in the works, but you can always message me here or PM me to discuss that.

Finally, here! Have a story! It's in the Dropbox folder, but I figured I might as well share it to y'all directly. Clean, and probably in need of some cleanup before it goes to SoFurry, but I reread Neuromancer recently and I was reminded that cyberpunk is a genre I'd kind of like to explore more, so here ya go.
