Mid-November update!

Hello everyone!

First off, thank you for being wonderful :) I hope you've been having a good month so far, and I hope the rest of it continues to treat you well! I'd like to catch you up on a few quick notes.

I've uploaded "Changes" and "Salvage" (the new Dark Horse episode) to writing.dog, which brings it back into parity with the current posting schedule on SoFurry. Apologies that there was a delay on the former, though for reasons explained in the commentary it was important that "Changes" go up on SoFurry first :P

Starting from "To Hold Him Like a Spell," a back-catalogue story I've writing.dogified, all stories going forward will now contain internal links to other stories that are referenced in explanatory notes (see attached picture as an example).

The "Fourth Wall" story markup / commenting / etc. engine is now version 0.62, reflecting changes made to support this story interlinking (it references an external story list, so if (for example) I upload a new writing.dog version of a SoFurry only story, links will change seamlessly on writing.dog).

Hopefully you can see that! The "relevant files" in this case are fourthwall.js and, to a lesser extent, the CSS and Python file. They are probably not well-commented, so if you have questions please feel free to reach out directly. This is literally the exact stack I use to generate output files for posting to SoFurry and writing.dog, so with fairly minor effort it would be possible to build your own such stories, and/or more complex ones.

(Or perhaps with "a lot of effort" since, as you may have noticed, I am not the best at graphic design, so if you wanted to do much with the engine you might want to start from the stylesheet. Ahem).

Anyway! This has run on a bit, so. Sorry for the quiet period—I was traveling for two weeks, but back now. I'll aim to have an update of the conlang word generator at the end of the month, along with the general and ongoing uploading of new content :)
