Three-week-in update!

Hello, fuzzy folk! So, when I first launched this, I wanted to ensure that there was sufficient content to make it worthwhile for. To that end, three weeks in, here's what's currently live:

* Seven stories from SoFurry, all with commentary, worldbuilding notes, and translations where appropriate: "Tricks," "High Society," "The Good Ship and Crew," "Shantih," A Waste of Desert Sand, "Keep the Wings Level and True," and "—And Be There."

* Two stories from the ebook Bodies in Motion, also with commentary: "Have Some Fun Tonight" and "Reckless"

* The current grammars for Rukhat (the Moreauverse) and Tiurishkan (the Brave New World)

* A list of the names, species, and ages of everyone in Cannon Shoals. Also a list of surnames linked to region and subregion in Aernia. These were experiments in a script I wrote to present CSV data in a browser window.

* Two encyclopedic articles, one on sublight propulsion in the Star Patrol universe and one on the Kamir War, which is obliquely referenced in A Waste of Desert Sand.

In other words if you subscribe now you have annotated versions of the last four stories I've posted to SF, but also two stories you would otherwise have had to buy Bodies in Motion for. Plus I guess if you wanted to learn how to speak dog? A Waste of Desert Sand also has inline options for a clean version of the story, if that's your thing.

Stories with annotation are generally averaging ~2,000 words of commentary per 10,000 words of text; the exception so far is "High Society," which is 2,500 words of commentary for 5,300 words of text. But that's just because I like jackals.

I have finished preliminary coding work on a dictionary script so that I can put the Rukhat and Tiurishkan dictionaries online, as well. Right now it lists all words, including translations and, for verbs, their conjugations. I want to make it searchable and to figure out the styling, but the heavy lifting is now done.

I think from this point forward, I'll post updates here when I add new stories, so (for patrons looking at this in the future) you should be able to get a sense of cadence.
