I feel like bringing a past drug use in cases can cause automatic assumptions with law enforcement/detectives. They can write you off too quick. It’s just something to know for everybody’s loved ones, most people have a history.

Yea!! I love long videos and multi parts. I need to get my art instillation done or get a good chunk of it done today.

Nick----your missing persons case on Theresa Jones is excellent. Your site always provides better research, focus on evidence and logic, and trips to the areas where an event has occurred, all of which is superior to other channels featuring missing persons cases. This time you have done much to actually solve a case---an achievement we've never seen on other sites. If anyone out there wants to watch videos like this instead of watching the same old stuff about skinwalkers and aliens, The Missing Enigma is your best choice. We're glad to support your work.

No worries, my friend.

Okey! 👍 I understand. I agree on that. Probably me misunderstanding parts. Great job 😊 impressed by the work you do and that the case is reopened🙌 meant nothing negative

I am a little bit confused by your comment. Are you saying I should have left out the narrative of how the body was discovered in this case? I don't see how that benefits anyone's understanding of what happened here, psychic or not. I'm not saying anyone should believe this psychic or not, but that element is ingrained as a part of how this case played out. If I covered it up... I'd be engaged in some kind of biased reporting based on my own belief systems. And if that happens, I'm no better than the rest of the people who just want to push their own narratives. The company that reviewed this case was Applied Forensic Solutions. You can google them and their website will come up. John Oliveira runs the company and his qualifications are listed there. As to why I am so confidant that this is not an accident... I go over it great detail in the video. There's a whole segment talking about lividity, the clean part of Theresa's jacket, the lack of current in the water, the scrapes on her shins, etc. There is a long list of points in there and even more I did not go over that were still in the report. AFS said they are rarely so confidant about their determination in a case. And I would remind you that this same evidence was presented to the Sheriff's department who ruled it an accident, and they decided to reopen the case because of it. Nobody says that there is no possible way it could be an accident, that wouldn't be right. You make claims based on where the evidence is pointing. And in this case there is an abundance of evidence indicating it was a homicide, or at the very least, she OD'd and some people placed her body in the water. We don't know what the truth is, but there appears to be no logical way Theresa put herself in that creek.

I send her a text and see what she says.

Great video and interesting coverage but very disappointing to see elements like psychics involved, blurring cases like this since evidence-based investigations deserve the focus (in my opinion). Just out of curiosity, what experts were part of that third-party report? (Maybe I missed it). It’s interesting to make such bold claims from just reviewing the documents. I’m not entirely sure why you seem so certain this wasn’t an accident (in some form or variant with a potential combination of factors)? It’s not implausible that it could have been one. Due to the discrepancies, I’m glad to hear they’re reopening it for a proper investigation (great job👍), but claiming it couldn’t possibly be an accident feels like a stretch. Amazing work as always! Hoping for less (absolutely zero) psychics in future videos so I can keep my aneurysm size in check😄👍

Nick!! Please have the psychic on to talk about the Guthrie case!!!!

Bravo TME! Absolutely LOVED this episode. Your actions have positively impacted a grieving family - absolutely outstanding work. I have followed your videos since I randomly found your Yuba County Five series (obsessed with that case) and you complete changed my understanding by showing the actual locations. Continue the great work - you should be so proud of this outcome 👏 Edited to add - I remain a sceptic about psychics - not sure how she got this info but I have some ideas 💡

Colleen

Somehow I missed the release of this one! Looking forward to watching it

Outstanding Video Great work and if it hadn’t been for your work I don’t think this case would have been reopened Thank you TME

I'm a big fan of James Randi. I would have loved to get his take on this. But I can already imagine what he might say and I do agree with him. The great limiting factor in this case is the lack of documentation of the initial reading and the reliability of witness testimony. I was not there when all this took place nor was anybody else who might have a good eye for trickery. Still, I've found it worth looking in to. I would really like to follow Carolyn's full process to actually see her 'solve' something in real time (while documenting the whole thing). Maybe that will happen.

As many said with this video you went far beyond research and entertainment, which are worthy causes indeed, and actively helped a family to reopen a case the police was eagerly dismissing. Very good work. About the alleged psychic: I’m, like you I think, basically a skeptic who doesn’t blindly refuse anything a priori. I’m in no condition to judge about this person; while I trust your judgment I don’t know if “rational laymen” like you and me are in the better position to spot a con man or someone deluded in good faith (and obviously I’m NOT saying that this is the case). I don’t know if you’re familiar with the works of James Randi, especially with Flim-flam! which deals specifically with these topics. If you’re going to investigate this (and I bet you will) look for expert advice; not from scientists, but from conjurers and professional tricksters: takes one to see one. It’s even in the Bible: Moses was accepted as the real thing after other “magicians” couldn’t do like him. Hope to hear from you soon
