It’s one thing to hear a story from you, Nick, but quite another to hear it from a grieving mother. We don’t survive the loss of a child intact and my heart goes out to her, both for her loss and for a lack of justice. I hope she has taken comfort in discussing her daughter’s absence with a group of people who care about her and who genuinely want to find resolution to this tragic mystery. You were respectful and sensitive in your interview with Hope, Nick. This must be a sad story for you as well.

Great video. Does anyone know why Trenny Gibson does not have a Wikipedia article?

Based on the footsteps going half a mile down the AT and then stopping. It looks like she possibly ran and he or they caught up to her at the 2’nd intersection. The crime took place up there at that intersection somewhere. Taking her to the right would be getting to close to the tower, because going right at that intersection would take you there at 0.3 miles. I think they took her left towards double springs. There’s several areas down there where you can walk & see right thru lots of trees - Easy to walk thru. They would be going downward mostly. They couldn’t have taken her as far as the shelter at 2.5 miles, cause they was hikers camping there at the time ( According to Dunlab ) Therefore she would be a mile or two down. Just like Simpson said when he opened his mouth and tried to pin it on Calvin. So a location is definitely pin pointed. Just needs better checked. If he buried her, he would of had to plan it, and had a shovel out there ready. Or they came back to bury her later at some point. But that seems like some pretty hard advanced planning. I think she was possibly buried with leafs, brush and sticks in a crevice, or put in or around some rock formation. With the weather being so bad, they could of easily missed her, or possibly not went back far enough. It’s sad that she’s still out there, and findable. But no one is looking.

And as far as Calvin goes. You really think he’s gonna tell the whole truth? Probably not. Maybe he really did have a history of sneaking in her window, but on that day was clearly upset over something & came unexpected. One thing for sure. From prior talk on this situation, doesn’t match up to the neighbor who seen him limping down the road? Although there could be truth & lies throughout that whole story. Who’s the guy that always drove him over? Anyone know? Wonder if it was Gary 🤷🏻♂️ I don’t believe Calvin had committed this crime tho. No evidence seems to point his direction. All evidence points to Simpson & possibly even Gary. He obviously talks as if he was there. Even his side of the story don’t make sense, or add up to anything, and how would he know that without being there? Yeah…..Very Sketchy.
I don’t believe they ever removed her body from where he or they quickly hid her. But if they did, then how? Hiking in would be well over 7 miles there and back, and to drive up - They would had been seen by the few guys that stayed in the parking lot the night she went missing. Unless those guys had a connection to Simpsons Daddy and was hand picked by Daddy Simpson himself.

If there is a recording of Hope speaking with someone else please link it here. To me, it's much better to hear from an actual witness than someone who spoke to the witness and wants to relay that information. Sometimes, that can't be helped. It this case, it can.

If Gary had anything to do with it. He’s probably the one who parked at Collin’s gap. He probably made his exit on the section trail that leads to the base of the dome, by taking a right at the double springs exit that is 0.5 miles up from Forney. I’ve hiked all those trails and know this area very well. Michael has done some amazing work on this and was great talking to him the other day. Great guy, and he worked hard on this case. Here’s my thoughts on the day of the crime. Dunlab said he seen footprints so far up going towards double springs. Assuming he might have been talking about the first AT intersection that connects From Forney to another intersection - 0.5 miles up to another intersection. Left to double springs at 2.5 miles & right to the base of the tower at 0.3 miles. The reason I think he meant the first’s intersection is because the sign on both intersection has ( double springs ) on both of them. The second intersection to double springs is pure rock ( deep in the earth ) for about 80-100 feet, I’m guessing. Therefore no way for footprints unless it was water or mud prints. Ok here’s the thing. If those footprints went for about half a mile, I’d say that’s the point she was attacked. Forced up to the AT section trail & attacked & unalived. You can’t see very far up the AT from Forney. Giving him or they the opportunity to do what they did without being seen. They would of took her body from there to be hidden. The left side of the AT section trail goes back several hundred feet ( downward ) before the drop off. That area would be the easiest & quickest way to hide a body in 20-25 minutes then get back on the bus. I don’t think they went back far enough to find her. Also…..It’s very foggy further back & definitely was the week they searched for her. So easy to miss. They need another search ( That area particular ) It’s so foggy further back, that you can’t see what’s beyond. Therefor it could get even lower. As well as rock formations or anything. The whole 0.5 miles of the left side of the AT section trail needs re-searched, but further back. Far as you can get in 30-40 minutes. God knows what’s back there. Also. The upper second intersection going towards double springs needs re-checked so far down on each side of trail. God forbid he thru her over the mountain.

First off Hope spoke on more than on occasion with at least one of the people who has been interviewed on this and other podcast. She clearly gave information out that she is trying to back peddle on now. I am completely convinced that Simpson did it and could have had help. Michael did a lot of work with the book and despite the fact that he is a judgemental person about anybody who thinks differently from him, i think as an investor he is awesome. After a long while of going down rabbit holes with researching this case, his book was refreshing. I will review his material on my podcast because he is picky about who he interviews with and I already know his thoughts on my podcast.

Let me clarify that EVEN THOUGH my podcast is mostly paranormal I do not subsciscribe to the idea that EVERYTHING is paranormal. This case was one that I have attachment too but was very much not paranormal.
