I especially like the expression on the search dog’s face as he trots toward the viewer, very focused and down to business. Also, I know this wasn’t the focus of the video, but I appreciate you both sharing your experiences with substance abuse at the end of the video. As someone with a sibling who is in the throes of addiction and destroying their life and relationships, it is uplifting to hear that people can make it out alive and move on to live a fulfilling, productive life. Glad to hear you’re both doing better.

The entirety of the "theories" originate from a profoundly grieving parent and are fed by: a perfect storm of lost records, severe weather conditions, and an understaffed/indifferent law enforcement reaction. Now, just add in an internet culture that is all about clickbait, derides facts and statistics in favor of wild postulation, and embodies a wilful ignorance of Occam's Razor. This isn't rocket science; I'm just a carpenter, it shouldn't be this hard for everyone else ;)
