Changing my Patreon page

I originally made this Patreon page because I noticed there was an interest (albeit limited) in making donations for my work. As such, I never really expanded upon a basic Patreon page that fulfills that purpose. Time to change that a bit. Consider this post an announcement, these changes are to be implemented next month.

Tiers

I'll be adding 2 more tiers, resulting in 3 tiers total. All of these might change, but this is what I'm thinking as of this moment:

- $1 tier: Same as it has been for quite a while now, your name will be included in the credits of any game I'm actively working on while you are supporting me. I'm thinking of adding the restriction that names should not be NSFW, as my projects might end up on CoolMathGames, which requires very family-friendly content. That said, it doesn't really matter for games such as Cursed Travels, since they drop the "completely family-friendly" act and don't get published there anyway.

- $2 tier: Every now and then (I'm thinking every 2 months) there'll be a poll asking you what small game I should work on next. The options will only be projects that I'd really like to finish anyway. Having at least this tier allows you to vote in this poll. I want to release more small, free games, but some of these options might end up bigger than that.
This is a bit experimental; we'll have to see how well this'll work in practice.

- $5 tier: Access to early prototypes of games. I'll be sharing more of these and am looking forward to any and all feedback you'd like to provide me with (although just playing the prototypes without providing any feedback or whatever is absolutely fine too, of course).

Other Patreon related changes

I'll be changing the page to a charge up front schedule thing. What this means is that when you join as a patron, you'll immediately be charged for the month you joined in. So if you'd join June the 26th, you'll be charged for June. Then, since Patreon charges you the 1st of every month, your next charge'd be July 1st, etc. As of now, the first time new patrons are charged is the 1st of the month after they join.
This changes literally nothing if you're already a patron.

The text on my page will change and I'm still thinking what kind of goals to add.

Quick update on current work

- Ferry Wheel will be finished soon. It'll be a bit later than the previously announced, but I don't think anyone was truly stoked for this one anyway.
- At the same time, since Ferry Wheel was used as a reward for joining my mailing list, another small unfinished project will replace that purpose. Namely this one.
- I'm making pixel arts of furniture type pokémon for fun, much like this one I did a while back: link to tweet. Any new ones will be posted on my Instagram: Instagram link.  (I mean, what else am I gonna use Instagram for...)
- Yes, still trying to finish Cursed Travels: Sunken City before March 2023.

Including something small and weird I've planned for Halloween, this means that I'll hopefully release 3 small projects (1 unfinished) next month.
