New Patreon Feature: Live Drops ๐or๐
Added 2024-09-01 16:29:29 +0000 UTCPatreon has this new feature called drops where I can schedule a time for a post to be released and then it creates a countdown until it drops. Then when the timer reaches zero, people can listen to the new guided meditation and it shows you who else is listening live. After the live drop sessions ends, the recording is up like normal, like it's always been.
Are people into this not? And then secondly, if yes when would be a good time to release the guided meditations as live drops - either Saturday or Sunday, but at what time?

It still seems like a nice feature though. Meditating in a group is like 5x as effective for me lately as solo and I'm in 3 separate meditation groups per week right now for that reason ๐

2024-09-01 16:59:21 +0000 UTCAh ok. I was definitely misunderstanding then. Because the point of streaming live content on other platforms when it drops that can later be replayed like on YouTube or whatever seems to be to interact with the community.

2024-09-01 16:57:53 +0000 UTCTo be clear, obviously I don't recommend pausing the guided meditation, which takes you out of the experience, best to just get into the meditation space and experience it all the way threw. Also I won't be answering questions during these live drops. I'll only do that during the Zoom calls, after the meditation. So this is just to see that others are meditating with you, which some may find comforting.

2024-09-01 16:51:34 +0000 UTCDefinitely into it as a low pressure way to interact. Also like that it gives a way to interject, ask questions or give commentary in ways that would be impossible/intrusive during the live sessions
