Two young men named Sebastian and Roman have their lives and their friendship pulled apart by The City, a hyper-civilized metropolis held together by its great philosophy "The Magnet"... and The Wilds, the chaotic world outside, where everything is alive... and deadly.
When Sebastian leaves the safety of The City for a pilgrimage to The Wilds, Roman stays loyal to The City and The Magnet. But when a mysterious underground writer named Argon begins to spread a disturbing theory about "Dr. Abraham", The City’s artificially intelligent surgeon, Roman begins to wonder if the good doctor may have sinister motives.
Written and drawn by The Tea Club's songwriters themselves, Dan McGowan and Patrick McGowan, the Grappling comic book is a companion piece to The Tea Club's 2015 album Grappling, and it reveals the story behind the album's enigmatic lyrics!
