***drum roll please*** The winner of the LEGO® Technic™ Ferrari 488 GTE from Zavvi is...

It's been a long week - and it needed to be. Your best ideas for BrickHawk were amazing, and choosing a winner - the best of the best ideas - was a real challenge!

Whilst they are all worthy of this fantastic prize from Zavvi, there can only be one winner... so without further ado, the winner of the best idea for BrickHawk is... Alan Downie

In case you missed Alan's best idea is:

The current dashboard (landing page) is a little meh at the moment. The "recent changes" isn't terribly useful, and I've already had emails about "recent hawks".  This is prime real estate! If I think about my "jobs to be done" with Lego purchases, it's  

* when are the current sets I'm after available at a good price?
* when are sets so cheap you'd be mad not to buy them?
* when are new sets available?
* when are hard to find sets or retired sets available?  

So I'm thinking a better dashboard with: 

* current deals (filterable by theme/store/hawk) - sometimes I might want to buy something just because it's super cheap, not because I'm actually watching it. e.g If Myer has a set 50% off,  I'm probably going to want to buy it.
* upcoming releases - I currently set calendar reminders when big sets come out (e.g. ? block this week). Having a list of items releasing this week would be mint!
* availability of rare or hard to find sets (retired, soon to be retired etc) - I don't want to waste hawks on sets that may never become available again. Being able to jump on these when they reappear would be great.

Alan's best idea for a new and improved BrickHawk dashboard, jam-packed with awesome ideas for the types of information it would show, is amazing! The landing page rarely gets any attention (I don't think it's changed since BrickHawk launched in 2019!), and turning it into a dashboard with the rich information described by Alan is really exciting! 

So whilst Alan is waiting for his brand new LEGO® Technic™ Ferrari 488 GTE from Zavvi  to arrive in the mail, work will begin in earnest to make Alan's idea a reality.

I cannot wait to share with you the new dashboard, and to (hopefully!) have more opportunities for you to take home some more awesome LEGO prizes.
