Ugh....drove it home almost naked....she sounded and felt amazing....keeping it between 4-6,000 rpm for 1000k break in....pulled it in the driveway and fork oil all over rotors left side, rad, my boots, front and rear tires. could have had a bad accident....drove 200k on highways....left inner tube was worn and had a scratch. mechanic also found very little oil inside it when rebuilding it. hoped that the new seal would work....I'm buying a used front end next week....so grounded again....have not ridden for 1.5 years because of the engine failure....crank hard chroming delays....I can wait another week. possible reason for engine failure....off spec oil I chose to use. Rotella 5W40 full synth....should have been using 15W50 ugh....but it did have 60k on it....

Thank you very much, Im really glad to hear you say that as ive always tried to make my videos firstly about getting a perfect restoration but also to help people with their own restorations and highlighting the problems that you will encounter along the way aswell as simple solutions to fix the problems. I could spend thousands on special tools that do specialist jobs but i don't think that's what you and all the other subscribers want you want a perfect restoration done with simple tools that anyone can buy so that you tackle your own projects without fear :) Haha dont tempt me you know what im like I'll put that name down just to wind you up ;) haha. Has your crankshaft position sensor arrived yet?

This is exactly what makes your videos better. The fact you actually don't just show a highly polished restoration as if they all happen seamlessly and without problems. Watching another deal with a problem in a public square employs thought and solutions from all involved.
