Also, buzzin’ for UFC 322, first card in a while I just can’t f’n wait for. That episode will be out Sunday morning with my immediate thoughts. Early prediction: not set in stone but I reckon JDM is scrambly enough to survive and has the nous on the feet to get to Islam. I may be way off, I just don’t see Makhachev being able to impose himself at 170 the same way he did at 155. Thoughts? Am I overrating JDM?

Same. After seeing Dustin’s success, I have moderate hopes for JDM. Only X factor for me is whether the easier cut to 170 will mean we get a better Islam. Am I wrong in saying Islam was more drained in the first fight against Volk? Something about a shorter time between weigh in and the fight? Cuz he was definitely looking ragged toward the end of the first Volk fight.
