Brella is down for Server Maintenance
Added 2021-03-26 06:01:02 +0000 UTCSo chances are, if you're in either of the two Discord servers for my projects, you've seen the latest bit of news from me - my main server hard drive has probably gone kaput... I go to power it on, and all I'm greeted with are beeps and clicking - so it's not sounding good so far.
Why am I telling you this? A few reasons, actually --
This has actually coincided really awkwardly with everything, because not only has the Jukebox gone semi-viral (again), but I was planning to try and hammer out a Spiral release over the next week or so. Both of these are slightly more difficult without my main server, but primarily become a problem because of the impact it has on my mental health, which has been... trash, as a result. These projects are difficult enough as it is, without throwing in extra stress about what I'm going to do.
Next up though is the bad news, which is that my backup system was... not working, apparently. I hadn't checked recently, but the last listed backup is November last year, so I'm missing a lot of fairly significant and important data from the system, which is obviously stressing me out. And data recovery is not looking to be cheap - I won't have a quote until next week, but it's possibly looking in the realms of up to or over $1000, so... yeah. Things might be a bit stagnant for a little while, for which I can do nothing but apologise.
I'm working on a few small tools to try and take some of the load off, but again, I can't make any promises at the moment unfortunately.
