How i got into coding
Added 2018-11-19 09:35:09 +0000 UTCI first started learning how to code in secondary school i did a lesson on visual basic programming language and i learned how to code a calculator and hangman app in windows forms it was really good learning how to code and its amazing how you dont appreciate the time and dedication it takes to make a successful app.
This inspired me to have a passion for computers and coding and i started to develop a small app that would allow me to pin shortcuts and website links to it for quick and easy access.
Later on in life i decided to study game development it was intresting to learn the core mechanics of software such as unity and being able to make models in photoshop (even know im not that good) my small app quickly developed into a bigger app i taught myself how to code better and even learned how to make shortcut keys that would show and close the app when pressing a key combo.
This also allowed me to show my friends what sort of app i had developed and it was portable meaning you could install it straight from a usb onto any computer without admin permissions it was really cool being able to quickly access important links and apps.
