Having wrapped up Curse of Strahd with my meatspace D&D group, I'm now no longer running two full-time D&D games. I've long said that I'd like to start running one-shots for patrons, and I'm ready to start making good on that promise.
The one hiccup is I can't run a single monster game with all of you guys at once, and Patreon doesn't allow me to run raffles or the like, so I have to come up with some fair way to run these games so that everyone who wants to play gets a chance. Here's what I'm thinking:
I'll take seven $5+ patrons at a time (five for the game, plus two standby in case someone can't make it last minute), on a first-come first-serve basis. If you're interested in playing this month, reply to this post and let me know. The date will be Wednesday, July 19 at 6:30pm - midnight EST. I'll be running the 5e version of Tomb of Horrors. We'll be using pre-gen characters (and probably lots of them).
I run my games using Tabletop Simulator, but it's ok if you don't have it. (You'll be able to see the map on the stream, and we'll pick you a designated dice-roller.) We'll use Discord for voice chat, so please make sure your microphone is in decent shape if you want to play.
Anyone who wants to play but doesn't get the chance will get priority next time I run a one-shot like this. My plan is to do this monthly at first, then bi-monthly as I find a good rhythm for making it work.
