UFC 284 / Alexander The GOAT?

Bit controversial but I've come away having a much lower opinion of Islam Makhachev. Fair? Let me know your thoughts once you've listened to the episode!

P4P literally means 'who would win if they were the same size', conceived so that sports writers could say Ray Robinson was the best fighter alive to Joe Blow who would go 'whaaat, but this guy is bigger than him'. I felt Volk's performance showed why he IS p4p #1 while also showing that Islam is not. Also, 3-2 either way is a fine score, and while I also personally score rd 4 for Islam, the way it went down does call into question the way we automatically give rounds to superior positioning.

Was dragged into a competitive fight that some think he lost, while a common consensus prefight was that if Islam got Volk down it’d be wraps. Would be curious to see a rematch a couple defenses down the road
