The Drew Dober Experience
Added 2022-12-22 13:45:42 +0000 UTCDrew Dober continues to have a place in my heart as one the most beloved action fighters around, but as usual Bobby Green played his part in an absolute barn-burner. I take a look at why these style clashes are so great as well as the adjustments Dober made to pull off one of the best knockouts of the year.
In other news, Arman Tsarukyan deserves more love from MMA hipsters, as he vanquished their favourite Damir Ismagulov. But Damir still deserves more love from the general populace, as he showed off his impressive depth of skill against the surging Tsarukyan. What does this fight tell us about both fighters and their place in the always-deep lightweight division?
Not a huge amount to report from the Cannonier-Strickland card, so I devote some time to a very intriguing MMA prospect. Will Cedric Doumbe make waves in the sport like fellow Glory champ Alex Pereira? Or will the difficulty of 170lbs for a pure striker mean he'll end up a bust? As promised in the podcast, check out Doumbe's latest mixed martial arts bout here

2022-12-24 07:05:26 +0000 UTCYou’re a good man. I absolutely love the podcast & your insights - plus your accent is bloody entertaining as well. No time for Twitter but after the ending I just listened to - just wanted to drop a line to say thank you and keep doing what you’re doing mate. Merry Christmas from a Kiwi living in Australia.
