SlapperCast 155 Preview: A Conversation with Luthier Liam Leach
Added 2022-01-22 03:05:00 +0000 UTCThis week on SlapperCast we're thrilled to introduce you to our friend Liam Leach, fledgling luthier (maker of stringed instruments) and the creator of the newest guitar and bass you've seen us playing recently. In fact, Chad has been using Liam's "Bravacado" bass exclusively since Liam gave it to him back in early October, and used it during the recording session for "Come out Ye Black and Tans" last week.
We've known Liam since he was a kid… he is the son of our dear friends Teri and Greg Leach, whom we've known for decades. So Liam is basically part of our family, but also without a doubt an extremely talented craftsman who is very passionate about what he does. This was truly a delightful conversation and will definitely have Liam on the show again ASAP.
This segment will likely be trimmed down a bit in the final episode, but you're getting the (mostly) unexpurgated version here tonight.
