Update 14th September 2022

The Guide to Pride 1 is a HUMONGOUS undertaking but is still due to be released in October. Currently waiting on a load of Japanese-language material to be translated. I meant what I said when I told you it was going to be comprehensive! As well as the audio documentary I will upload images from the pre-event magazine and the on-site programme.

For the rest of this week I will be working on the Miguel Torres audio documentary. What was originally going to be me chatting against Torres’ career and then a ‘Right? Or Robbery?’ regarding the Torres-Johnson fight from UFC 130 has become a written/scripted audio documentary with heaps of primary source research. Think the ‘Closet Classics: Prouder vs. Thurman’ episode from a few months back but this time about a full career rather than one fight.

Hopefully once that is released (I’d say next week-to-ten days) you will all feel like your patronage has been worthwhile this month! After these two ‘documentaries’ I still have one more planned to finish off the year. Bonus content for November not yet determined, so feel free to leave suggestions in the comments below 👇 if there are particular episodes you’ve enjoyed that you’d like to see more of (I.e RorR/Closet Classics/any new ideas you may have!)

Thanks to you all for your support! Very much appreciated as always.

All the best, Kyle

Been loving the long form audio! Makes work go by a lot quicker. I've always been a sucker for fight history, so any deep dives into (kick)boxing/MMA scratches that itch. As for suggestions, this might be a little out of left field but maybe something on Sengoku/World Victory Road? I feel like its a promotion that doesn't get as much attention as its peers during the late 2000's.

Thank you mate. Really glad you’re enjoying them, and yes I am hoping to provide something others don’t. Hope you enjoy what’s coming!

Really enjoy these long form pieces you’ve been putting out, and like how they differentiate from some of the other content released by combat sports creators. Thanks for all your hard work, and I look forward to when you release the next ones!
